Ann Marie Flores recently presented on the role of cancer rehabilitation in preparation for and as part of recovery from cancer for the Lurie Cancer Center Learning Series "Cancer Connections", a program providing education to survivors, caregivers, friends and relatives touched by cancer.

Ann Marie Flores presented her research, "Moving On After Breast Cancer - A pilot test of an early education intervention to manage breast cancer-related impairments", at the European Breast Cancer Congress in Barcelona, Spain on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018.

Ann Marie Flores spoke on the role of cancer rehabilitation for managing cancer-related pain and impairments at the Midwest Pain Society scientific meeting. She presented a compelling case for rehabilitation as key to "thrivorship" by improving function, quality of life and reducing chronic pain for survivors of cancer.
